January 3 Abundant Living John 10:10
Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)
Coming to Jesus, accepting His Selfless Act at Calvary, for the remission and forgiven of your sins and becoming a “Born-Again” Believer, is the only way to achieve this “Abundant” Living that John speaks about! Through this, your life can be God-directed, leading you to live the full, free, abundant life promised to you in John 10:10. When you experience a new beginning, born of the Holy Spirit, your whole life is affected. It is really very much like you are a newborn baby. You are given a clean slate. Literally, you have a whole new book to write! The decisions you make are different. The way you choose to see challenges and difficulties changes. The events in your life take on new meaning. Your purpose becomes clearer. Your faith walk becomes more confident. A simple fact is, that when you come to Jesus in Salvation and Redemption, and your life does not change, then you may not be “Saved!” A True and Genuine Experience of His Saving Grace WILL MAKE A CHANGE IN YOU! Stop, and reflect on your life and your actions and words and determine if they are EDIFYING to JESUS or are they simply a reflection of your Human Nature and no evidence of change is present! His Love, His Grace, His Saving Power WILL make a Difference! I choose to Live Abundantly, How About You! Stay Strong, Stay Focused… THE BEST IS YET TO BE!
